Jerry Garcia And Grateful Dead Themed Music Venue Now Open In Illinois
I had a special musical moment during the summer of 1991. I went to see the Grateful Dead at Soldier Field. To this day, it's still one of my favorite concerts of all time. Many music fans had special moments during Dead shows in Illinois.

Jerry Garcia played his final concert before he passed at Soldier Field in the summer of 1995. The Grateful Dead celebrated its 50th anniversary during the 4th of July weekend in 2015 at the iconic stadium. Those are a couple of incredible memories for fans.
With the Grateful Dead's history in Chicago, it only makes sense for a venue dedicated to Jerry Garcia to be open in the Windy City. The place is called Garcia's Chicago. The hall is a 300 seater and also has a tasty menu of delicious food.

Garcia's Chicago is located at 1001 West Washington Blvd. in the city. Jerry's family is involved with the venue. The food menu features items that the popular musician enjoyed while he was on tour. I can't wait to check it out soon.
