Thrifting Is Like an Epic Treasure Hunt
Look, I hate paying full price for anything. If I cannot get it on clearance or second-hand, I don't want it. In fact, I actually prefer to thrift, and rather enjoy it. It's like a treasure hunt of epic proportions. You never know what you are going to find, and I often leave the thrift store paying a fraction of regular retail prices.
Saving Money and Doing Good
I work incredibly hard for my money and while there are some things that I have no problem spending more on, other things - like clothes, I'd just rather thrift. Not only does it save me money, it also keeps clothes out of landfills, and when I thrift at stores like Goodwill, who have a greater mission, then I am helping out there too.

It is not uncommon for someone to compliment me on my outfit or purse, only to receive an enthusiastic, "Thanks! I thrifted it!" It's like a badge of honor. Seriously, I can spend hours in a single thrift store and be a happy little clam.
The New Goodwill Store Has Been Highly Anticipated
Needless to say when I first heard the news that Evansville was getting a new Goodwill store, and it was being built inside the northern anchor storefront of Washington Square Mall, I was ecstatic! I have been watching the progress regularly, as I drive by that part of town often.
Grand Opening Details Released for New Evansville Goodwill
I'm sure you can only imagine my elation when I learned that they have officially announced a Grand Opening date for for the new store! So if you too are a thrifting queen (or king), you better mark your calendar because Evansville Goodwill says they have exciting things in store for the entire Grand Opening Weekend!
