It’s Indiana vs Tennessee in the Gator Bowl – Kentucky Vs Virginia Tech in Belk

The 2019-2020 bowl games are set now and here's a welcome mild surprise: The Indiana Hoosiers will meet the Tennessee Vols in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl on Jan. 2 at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville at 6:00PM cst. The game will be televised on ESPN. Originally the Hoosiers were to play Kentucky in the Gator but since Tennessee had beaten Kentucky in the regular season, the Vols got first choice and at the last second opted for the Gator.

This shuffling will move Kentucky to the Belk Bowl against Virginia Tech on December 31 at 11:00AM  at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC on ESPN.

Here are the other area teams that will extend their seasons with bowl games;

Louisville will pay Mississippi State in the Franklin Amer. Mort. Music City Bowl in Nashville December 30 at 3:00PM.

Notre Dame takes on Iowa State in the Camping World Bowl in Orlando on Dec. 28 at 11:00AM cst.

Western Kentucky goes up against Western Michigan December 30 in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl at the Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas, TX at 11:30AM cst.
