It Takes A Village in Need of Volunteers for Frog Follies
The annual Frog Follies car show is coming up at the Vanderburgh 4-H Center this Friday through Sunday, and It Takes a Village is hoping you can lend them a hand or two during the event.
The Evansville-based dog rescue (on Stockwell Road) will once again set up shop at each gate of the 4-H Center to collect admission from visitors, and are need of volunteers to help collect that cash. You must be 16-years-old or older to volunteer and have the ability to stand through most of your shift.
Shifts range from three to a little over four hours, and run from 6:45 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Sunday. Visit the online sign up sheet to volunteer.
In exchange for staffing the gates, It Takes a Village receives a donation from Frog Follies to help continue their mission of finding forever homes for the pets in their care.
