When my dad's Alzheimer's become more advanced, we put a nanny cam in his living room to be able to check on him when we could not be at the house with him.

The doctor suggested it and even though it seemed like a huge invasion of privacy, we knew it was what was best. Now, that he has moved into assisted living, there is no need for the camera anymore, But, my sister and nieces, who are getting ready to move into the house, still have yet to take the camera down.

Do you know what that means? I have activated the mic, on the camera, and I'm now making it my mission to scare the crap out of them. I see some incredibly funny videos in my future. LOL.

Unlike me, and my evil plan to scare my loved ones, this Portage, Indiana mom had no intention of scaring her young son as she did, but she ended up scaring him so bad he screamed like a car alarm.

Here is what she had to say about the video.

We have a camera in our son Braden's room. When my wife saw him out of his bed when he was supposed to be napping she spoke through the camera speaker. This was the first time either of us used the talking feature on the camera and it scared the living daylights out of Braden and he started screaming.
