It's so cute when dogs play together. You can almost see the big smiles on their faces as they live their best life. My grand-dog, Mac, love playing with other dogs so much. He's the very best playmate.

I have to admit that I had my reservations when my son and his girlfriend wanted to adopt a Great Dane. Living in an apartment, I thought a Great Dane was the last breed of dog they should be bringing home, but they did it anyway. They had both dreamed of having a Great Dane breed of dog someday and they made it happen. Meet @bigmacthedane

Once I met Mac, I realized why they wanted to get a Great Dane. You talk about an affectionate dog. He has no idea how big he is, he is just a big bundle of love and snuggles.

The Great Dane breed of dogs are known for their lap dog mentality. According to hillspet.com,

Great Danes are considered gentle giants. They are moderately playful, affectionate and good with children. They will guard their home. Great Danes generally get along with other animals, particularly if raised with them, but some individuals in the breed can be aggressive with dogs they do not know.

Mac, never meets a stranger or a dog he doesn't think is his best friend. If you take him to a dog park for a play date, he will charm everybody into falling in live with him. Let's just say he brings the play to the playdate.

Look at the wrestling match he started with a much smaller dog. The little dog is having the time of his life. Look at the smile on his face. So cute.

Here is another video of Mac trying not to scare a puppy while playing at a park in Owensboro. He wasn't even full size then.
