Do you remember the feeling of going to the store as a kid, and everything was so big?  This toy store definitely brings back those same feelings!

Toy Store Memories

I still remember the feeling of walking into Toys R Us as a kid. I remember the store always felt huge, and I could spend hours exploring.  I'll never forget the time we were checking out, and the guy working the cash register asked my mom when my birthday was. After she told him, I remember him saying, "close enough!" and he grabbed a box and scanned it, and it rang up a penny.  He asked my mom if that was okay, and she said yes.  I'll never forget what I pulled out of the box: a hot pink Barbie-themed Polaroid camera (I wish I still had it, I have no idea what happened to it).

I still don't know why I got that camera. I'm sure there was some promotion going on, or maybe it was overstock, but either way, it is one of those memories that has always stuck with me, and anytime I step into a toy store, there's still a small part of me that gets that excited kid feeling again.

Toy stores are few and far between these days, but I recently learned about a massive toy store in Indiana that brings back that nostalgic feeling, because this place is HUGE!

The Biggest Toy Store in Indiana

Recently, I was scrolling online and I saw a video for a toy store, and just from the video, I could tell this place was huge.  I had to know more! The store is called The Toy Pit, and it has 13,000 square feet of space filled with toys and collectors' items.
