Pokemon Go is the latest app craze, and it's obvious to see why.  It's got the nostalgia and love already from people who grew up playing Pokemon, but with a new age twist. But people are starting to be aware of a possible security issue with the app.

I drove by the river front in Newburgh on Sunday night and saw at least 100 people down there, all playing Pokemon Go! It's getting more users than Snapchat and Tinder right now.   However people are very cautious about this new issue with how the game has full access to your Google account, which means your email, your google drive, your search history, everything.  Which I don't think the app itself really cares to read my mundane search history, or read my email to see I have an Etsy addiction, and have ordered way too much off that site in the last few days, but if the company that created the app gets hacked, that could be a BIG security issue!

The good news is, you CAN turn it off! Here's how:

 

Now turn up your speakers, and get pumped before you go "catch them all!"  The first season's song reminds me so much of my childhood!
