Henderson Chamber of Commerce Announces the Return of Market on Main
While the past two years have featured a number of our favorite events getting canceled due to concerns over the COVID pandemic, more and more of them have been announcing their return over the past few months as the pandemic seems to be somewhat under control (fingers crossed). One of those events is the annual Market on Main in Henderson which will make its return this weekend.
Henderson Market on Main Returns to Downtown Henderson
The one-day-only event will take place on Saturday, May 21st (2021), and will feature local vendors selling a wide variety of different items, including:
- Antiques
- Jewelry
- Pet accessories
- Home goods
- Sweet treats
The Market will take place on Main Street (obviously) between 1st and Washington Streets from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
If that stretch of Main Street is a favorite place of yours to park your car, you'll need to find somewhere else to go for the majority of the day on Saturday. According to a press release about the event from the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, vehicles on that stretch need to be moved elsewhere by 6:00 AM that morning, four hours before the Market is set to open.
This will no doubt be a great day to get the family out of the house and support a number of different vendors from the Henderson area. According to the National Weather Service, it looks like Mother Nature should cooperate. While they do call for a slight chance of rain on Saturday, it seems, as of right now anyway, we'll have a drive and partly sunny day with a temperature in the mid-70s. Sounds like good shopping weather to me.
