If you or someone you know is looking to get back into the workforce, or maybe you've been at the same job for a long time and you're ready to see what else is out there, the Henderson Economic Development Workforce Coalition is giving you the opportunity to explore a variety of options in the Henderson area during a two-day job fair at the Henderson County Public Library.

The fair will take place on Tuesday, June 14th from 2:30 until 5:00 PM and Wednesday, June 15th from 8:00 until 11:00 AM. 37 employers are confirmed to be on-site both days ready to talk with you about the variety of positions they have available including pre-entry level, entry-level, experience, experience with education, and management. Companies expected to participate cover a wide range of industries and include Accuride, Deaconess, Henderson County Schools, Hydro Aluminum, SITEX, Tyson Foods, Wabash Plastics, and more.

Several of the job openings available are posted on the Henderson Economic Development Workforce Coalition website with more expected to be added as the event gets closer. It would certainly be worth the time to look through the jobs being offered, that way you can know what position you'd like to try to land and do a little research so you walk directly up to them at the job fair and wow them with your knowledge of the position and the company.

If it's been a while since you've applied for a job and could use a little refresher on preparing a resume or applying for a job, the Kentucky state government's Kentucky Career Center provides a variety of resources to help.
