These petunias were genetically engineered to glow in the dark, which is wild to think about. We are living in the future!

According to Light Bio, these petunias were created to emit bioluminescence, which causes them to glow. Think lightning bugs, it's the same thing that makes them emit light.
Are Firefly Petunias Hard to Care For?
Minus the fact that these specific petunias happen to glow in the dark, by day, they're regular petunias. Light Bio says they're relatively easy to care for.
The Firefly Petunia emits a soft glow similar to moonlight. It can be grown in pots, baskets, or gardens, quickly attaining about 8 to 10 inches in size with abundant white flowers. This plant is easy to care for, thriving without
needing special conditions or treatments.
During the day, they look like regular petunias, kind of like these.
Light Bio also says that if you get adequate direct sunlight in your home, you can also grow them indoors. They say the more you promote growth, the brighter they will glow.
