The Franklin Street Events Association is planning a big Earth Day event this Saturday with plenty of activity for the whole family.  From a 5K with plenty of color, to live animals, to art made of junk, there's something for everyone.

The day will be kicked off at 8am with the Color Me Fun 5K Run.  Runners will participate in a non-competitive race through the west side, as they and fellow runners through a mixture of corn starch and color, that will paint the white t-shirts with a rainbow of fun.
