This Fruity Donut is the Top Choice for Indiana Residents
A wise man once said, "Mmmmm, donuts," and I'm not sure truer words have ever been spoken. Donuts have been a breakfast staple for decades upon decades with bakeries all around the world coming up with new and creative twists to separate their version from the others. There are round donuts and twisted donuts. Some have jelly or cream filling in the middle, while others are covered with icing and topped with crushed nuts, sprinkles, sugar crystals, or shaved coconut. No matter what you like, there is a donut out there somewhere for you. But is your favorite the same as the majority of other Indiana residents?
New Study Reveals the Most Popular Donut in Every State
MRO Electric and Supply Company "compiled a list of commonly eaten donuts across the U.S. and looked at 25 donut-type keywords on Google Trends from May 2018 to 2023," to figure out the most popular donut choice in each state. Why is an electric supply company looking into donut data? I couldn't tell you. But, they did and I am here for it because, donuts.

The Most Popular Donut in Indiana
According to their research, the blueberry donut is the go-to choice for Hoosiers. Usually, when I see studies like this that use search data to determine a state's most popular or favorite thing, my choice is rarely the same as the majority of the state. However, that's not the case here. Blueberry donuts are my favorite no matter what bakery I get them from. Of course, some are better than others, but when all is said and done, I'm still eating a donut, and that's always a win.
