Halloween 2012 – 4 Awesome Places in Evansville You Can Take the Kids Trick or Treating

Round up your little goblins and ghouls and make plans to trick or treat at some of these family events in and around Evansville this Halloween! 

1) Main Street Trick or Treat:

All ghosts and goblins are invited to the 13th Annual Main Street Trick or Treat presented by Townsquare Media and American Family Insurance! This event provides a fun and safe environment for trick or treat fans on Main Street in downtown Evansville from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to 2nd Street with lots of games and prizes - everyone is a winner!  With lots of food and drinks available from concessions - its a hit for the whole family!  Plus - there's a costume contest at 1pm at the main stage!  Winners will be chosen for all age groups from 0 months to age 12!  Click the button below for more information about Main Street Trick or Treat!

2) Boo at the Zoo:

An Evansville tradition continues with Mesker Park Zoo and Botanical Gardens - Boo at the Zoo!  All the fun gets started at 5pm this Friday (October 19) and runs weekends through the 28th.  Children will enjoy the candy stations, craft activities, a mad scientist, face painting, giant inflatables, creepy critters, games, a magician and AAZAK’s Tent of Terror. 3)  Eastland Mall Boo Bash:

Bring the kids to Eastland Mall on Saturday October 29 at 1pm for trick or treating, entertainment, crafts and a whole lot of family fun!  But the fun doesn't stop there - oh no!  Bring everybody back to the mall on Halloween night for safe trick or treating at all the stores in the mall from 5pm to 7pm!  You can even get a picture of your child in their Halloween costume!  Click the button below for more information about the Eastland Mall Boo Bash!

4) Bethel Temple Trunk or Treat:

This is one of the biggest Truck or Treat Events in Evansville!  Families love it (especially for those with little kids that aren't quite "sure" about the whole Halloween holiday - dress up thing) because it's a "no fear" event.  This year the "Bethel Temple Trunk or Treat is set for October 31 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.  You can count on rides, games, inflatables, food - it's a Halloween evening of family fun!  For more information click the button below.
