The weather is finally starting to feel like its spring and that means the days of summer are almost here. No matter how hot it gets, you want to do more in the summer. Your days seem longer, and so much more happens in the summer. So if you add free concerts to your summer vocabulary, Its makes everything better! Who doesn't like free?!?!

Madisonville has had their Friday Night Live nights for over 10 years now. Each year they have gotten bigger and better. Their first concert of the season features Joe Nichols and Tracy Lawrence. Besides the concert there will be plenty of food options and stuff for the kids.  This is happening on June 14. There are also different concerts happening in July and August. Visit their facebook page here to see when those concerts happen.

Keeping Madisonville on subject, they will also have their 4th Fest Firework Celebration, and this year they are bringing The Charlie Daniels Band before their fireworks show. You guessed it, this concert is also free! This happens in the city park with a beer garden, inflatables, and food. Never forget the food!  To check this out and get more information, click here! Also check out my favorite commercial with Charlie Daniels!

Let's move on Over to Greenville, KY. This year is their 11th year of doing Saturday's on the Square. Saturdays between June 29th to July 27th they have free entertainment for the family with their free concerts starting on July 6th. July 20th will be the first ever "HWY 62 Bluegrass Festival". Their last concert of the year will be featuring the Oak Ridge Boys. Yes! You too can see them perform "Elvira" and get excited for the "Omm poppa maew maews". I don't know how you'd spell that, but I get super excited. The Oak Ridge Boys have so many great hits and they put on a great show!
