The Vanderburgh Humane Society has a really neat adoption event going on though Saturday, and that includes our Pet of the Week, Turkey (who is a cat)!

The VHS is a gem and works hard to help take care of the homeless pets in our area.  They currently have more than 700 animals in their care, and as our friend, Executive Director, Kendall Paul, likes to say when she stops by the studio, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." So they will certainly be able to find you a pet who will be a great fit for your home.

going on this week, the VHS is celebrating Bark Week with 50% off ALL adoption fees, and this goes through Saturday July 12th, when Bark Week comes to a close with their Bark Party a free, fun event at the VHS, taking place from noon to 5, and all are welcome to come by and enjoy food, vendors, and of course meet the adoptable pets of the VHS!
