All Makes And Models Available at the VHS!

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them in all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats who have been around awhile. So there is a very good likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week with the VHS, and this week we've got a special pair of low ridin' besties!

Low Ridin' Besties Eira & Harley

This week's pets of the week are two dogs who have become best friends through the VHS.  These two didn't come into the VHS together, but they've created quite a sweet friendship.  Now Eira and Harley are not bonded and don't have to be adopted together, but when you see them together, I think you'll agree, that they are the cutest best friends! Oh and look at those short legs! How cute are they?!

Here is what Kendall Paul has to say about these two:

What are the odds of having two, non-related lowriders in the shelter at the same time? Meet three-year-old Eira and five-year-old Harley! They became fast friends after arriving from animal control. Harley is incredibly shy and has been following his fellow shortstuff’s lead. They both love volunteer Sam and have him to thank for bringing them out of their shells. These two are not bonded, but Harley would greatly benefit from living with another dog! While these two don’t need to be adopted together, the adoption fee will be $50 off if they are. Visit vhslifesaver.org to adopt one (or both) of them today!

Check out Eira and Harley below and be sure to check out the VHS when you're ready to add a furry family member to your home.
