Lincolnshire Neighborhood

To be totally honest with you, I wasn't familiar with the Lincolnshire neighborhood until I heard about the Lincolnshire Front Porch Festival last year. It turns out the Lincolnshire neighborhood is located from Lincoln to the north, Willow Road to the east, Washington Avenue to the South, and Hwy 41 to the west.

This area truly has such a cool history. So many beautiful homes and buildings make up the historic district. If you get a chance to drive around the Lincolnshire area, it's definitely worth it.  Check out this really informative piece on the Lincolnshire area highlighting its historical significance as well as a map so you can take in the beauty of Lincolnshire for yourself too.

Musicians perform on the front porches and front lawns throughout the neighborhood. Last year there were over 20 musical performances including Monty Skelton, Gina Moore, and Corduroy Orbison to name a few. The musicians will play from 2-6pm throughout the neighborhood. There will be a special band highlighted from 6-7pm at the “triangle”.

Ten food trucks as well as a bar cart will be located around the neighborhood.  Yoga is offered from 1-2pm at the “triangle” located on Willow Rd at Bayard Park Drive.

This is a family friendly event. Bring the stroller, the dog and even your cooler.  Free parking available at Bosse High School and St. Benedict Cathedral.
