Evansville Police Need Your Help Locating Missing Teen
I have a teenage son, and I cannot imagine what I would feel if he went missing. A 16-year-old girl has been missing from Evansville, Indiana since Sunday, December 10, 2023.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE/MISSING JUVENILE: Fifteen-year-old female, Danica Short, left Hillcrest Youth Home last night at approximately 8:50 pm. The last two images are what Danica was seen wearing when she left. If you have any information about Danica’s location please contact 9-1-1.

Danica's last known location was at the Hillcrest Youth Home, located at 2700 W Indiana St Evansville, IN 47712.

These photos from the Hillcrest Youth Home are kind of blurry, but they give you an idea of what she was wearing on Sunday night. She was wearing a black and brown flannel long-sleeved button-up, black t-shirt with white writing, black leggings, and white and black Adidas.
