Evansville Homicide Victim ‘Go Fund Me’ Set Up

You can help the family of Halee Rathgeber with her funeral expenses. Haley, 20 years old, was found dead, Monday (April 24), at the soccer fields near Alcoa. According police, her death is being investigated as a homicide. You can help her family, in a small way, cope with their incredible loss.

There is a Go Fund Me page that has been set up for the funeral expenses. They have set a goal of $5000. Click HERE to donate. The family friend that set up the page posted the following about Halee.

Halee' family will appreciate all the help they can get. It's not easy hearing your daughter passed away. Everyone knows Halee was an amazing sweet lady that could put a smile on ANYONE's face, even if it was just passing by her waving she always made someone smile and always had a smile on her face no matter what. You will be missed by a lot Halee Denise If you can't help that's ok but a simple prayer for her family would be great.

According to Eyewitness News, Halee died of a single gunshot wound to the head. Her Facebook page states that she worked at Texas Roadhouse and that she was going to USI to become a nurse. Our thoughts and pryers go out to Halee's family and friends.
