Central Indiana Gun Shows is set to host another big gun and knife show at the Vanderburgh 4-H Center in June.

Having grown up in the country, I've done my fair share of target shooting. Some of my best summer memories are loading up the car with my buddies and heading out to the range to burn through some ammunition. That said, I was a lot more frugal when ammo prices shot through the roof a few years ago. (See what I did there?) Luckily, I could always count on a good bargin at area gun shows for not only ammo but other firearms and pocket knives for every day carry.

Central Indiana Gun Shows puts on several events throughout the Hoosier State every year, and they've got one headed for Evansville soon. The big show will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, and Sunday, June 16, 2024, at the Vanderburgh 4-H Center. It will run from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. that Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the following Sunday. Visitors can expect to find a wide variety of items to shop for from the best dealers in the state. All federal and local firearm laws and ordinances must be obeyed, and those 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Parking is free.

I cannot wait to see what vendors will have this year, as I've recently taken an interest in surplus firearms. Personally, I'm hoping to find a M1903 Springfield to go with the M1 Garand already in my collection. Whether you're looking for military surplus items, knives, handguns, shotguns, or other rifles, I'm sure you'll be able to find whatever you're looking for at this show. Not only that, but I'll bet you'll have a great time chatting with other outdoor enthusiasts while doing so. You can learn more about the event here.

7 Weapons You Can Legally Own in Indiana That Aren't Guns

Anything can be a weapon if used as such. Large rocks, baseball bats, golf clubs, hammers, etc., etc. However, those objects aren't designed to be used as weapons. These seven, on the other hand, are, and you are completely within your rights to have them in Hoosier State.
