Our local law enforcement understand how important it is to meet the public and to build real relationships with the people they protect. It's crucial to create positive encounters and to teach people, especially our youth, not to fear the police. The community is encourage to get involved and to learn about what's happening in their neighborhood.

On Wednesday, May 1st the Evansville Police Department is hosting their first City-Wide Neighborhood Association/Crime Prevention meeting.

Come to the CK Newsome Center to meet members of the EPD's Crime Prevention Unit. Learn about the various Evansville sectors that police patrol and what's happening in these areas of the city...and use this time to ask questions of the Crime Prevention officers.
