Energize Evansville Will be Hosting a “Walk at the Zoo” At Mesker!

It's never too early in the year for the zoo! And Energize Evansville is hosting a walk at Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden! 

According to the Evansville and Vanderburgh county official website, Energize Evansville will be hosting a "Walk at the Zoo"  On March 18 from 9-11 AM.  The walk will of course be held at the zoo!  During the walk you will be led on a walk through the zoo with Mayor Lloyd Winnecke. There will also be local fitness experts and Parks and Recreation officials. You do not have to pay zoo admission to join the walk, but you do have to register before the walk, you can register from 8:45-9AM.

Energize Evansville is a health and fitness program launched by Mayor Winnecke as part of his health initiative to give individuals support to transform their lives through physical activity. The program is held on the third Saturday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. at a different city park or venue and features local fitness experts leading group exercises for all ages.
