The decision comes down after much of the Midwest and east coast were hammered by a nasty winter storm.

Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Icemen, Luke Burket, made the announcement in an e-mailed press release to the Evansville media which stated:

IceMen Fans,

This Tuesday’s game versus Toledo has been postponed due to inclement weather and emergency level weather warnings in the upper Midwest. Toledo was scheduled to leave early this morning, but to ensure their safety and with the future forecast the ECHL, Toledo and the IceMen chose to make a decision that was in everyone’s best interest.

Any and all Season, Group and/or Single Game Tickets purchased through the IceMen Ticket Office, The Ford Center Box Office, Ticket Master or any other Ticketing Outlet for the Tuesday, January 7th game will continue to be valid for the future rescheduled game date.

We will make more information available about the makeup date for this game as soon as it is available on www.evansvilleicemen.com. The IceMen Ticket Office and The Ford Center Offices are open today during normal business hours from 8:30AM – 5:00PM to help field any questions or concerns.
