Presidential candidate Donald Trump is working his way around the Hooiser state and could be coming to Evansville!

The Donald is expected to be in Indy campaigning with former IU head coach Bobby Knight on Wednesday and rumors have been floating around that he is expected to be here in Evansville on Thursday!

According to 14 News "14 News has obtained an email from the associate director of operations at the Ford Center. Employee's of the Ford Center were asked to come in on Thursday, for a Trump Rally.The email sates that doors will be opened starting at 9:00 a.m. with the event scheduled to begin at Noon. Conclusion of the event will be around 2:30."

The Courier Press, City officials were advised that Trump would be in town, "Evansville officials have been advised that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump plans a Thursday visit here, but the time and venue is still unconfirmed, City-County Building Authority Director Dave Rector said."

Here is the latest update from The Courier Press. "Donald Trump's campaign has remained in contact with Evansville officials about an appearance by the candidate on Thursday, but the venue has not been settled.Managers of the Ford Center and the Old National Events Plaza both have said there have been conversations, but no final word from the campaign on which facility it wants to use.'
