This dapper gentleman is as sweet as they come, and he's looking for his forever home!

All Makes, Models, and More!

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." There's a good chance that the VHS will have a pet who fits your family's lifestyle.

All jokes aside, we spoke with Kendall today, and she made the reminder that if you are looking to add a furry family member to your home, she asks that you please check the shelters first, and consider adopting from a local shelter.  Every space that opens up at VHS means that an animal goes into a new home, and another can take their place.  This means two lives are saved at once.   And the VHS often has everything from smaller pets to puppies and kittens, to senior dogs and cats.  So there's a very good chance they'll be able to help you find the right pet for your home.

Orange cats are known for having big personalities and Gerald is no exception! He may be 7 years old, but don't let that fool you, he's still a youthful, playful guy with a sweet and goofy personality.  Here is what the VHS has to say about Gerald:

Meet Gerald, an adorable 7-year-old domestic shorthair! Whether he’s exploring new nooks and crannies or chasing after his favorite toy, Gerald’s curiosity keeps him young at heart. If you're looking for a loving companion who thrives on fun and affection, Gerald is your guy! Gerald's adoption fee of $100 includes his neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccinations.
