Have you ever watched some of the 50's and 60's inspired TV shows and thought....how cool they look sipping their ultra cool whiskey on the rocks?  Well, don’t try it. Let's not kid ourselves, we're more the ‘whiskey in a Red Solo Cup’ kind a people.  LOL Soooooo, how bout this??? A Whiskey Slush!! In a Red Solo Cup of course!!!!

If you are like me, you have your favorite whiskey handy and close for any occasion. The recipe is simple, and if you are like me, you always have a bottle of your favorite whiskey handy for any occasion.  Some might say it’s wrong to keep a bottle on the back of the toilet, but sometimes things get crazy!! ;-)

The recipe is simple, here is how to make your Whiskey Slush:

Whiskey Slush

1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
2 cups strong brewed black tea
1 cup white sugar
2 cups whiskey
7 cups water
1 liter ginger ale soda
2 lemons – cut into wedges, for garnish

  • In a large plastic container combine lemonade concentrate, orange juice concentrate, tea, sugar, whiskey and water. Mix well and freeze for 24 hours.
  • Scoop into a tall glass, 3/4 full, and pour ginger ale to fill the glass. Stir and garnish with lemon wedges.

You're welcome!! :-)
