Cute Guy Takes Over TikTok and Women Are All In, But Not For The Reason You Think [OPINION]

Something ordinary, yet completely extraordinary thing is happening on TikTok right now. If you aren't on the video social media and don't know what I see all of the time, let me explain.

I've said many times, on the air, that TikTok is my happy place. I love to scroll through and see all of the comedy, cute babies, funny dogs, recipes, and life hacks. I also will see, and sometimes like, attractive men doing cute, funny, and attractive things. I have to admit, sometimes it's cheesy and ridiculous, and if that's the case, I just move on. But, what is happening right now, blows my mind.

A twenty-one-year-old, Canadian, William White, has basically taken over TikTok. The guys who used to post what THEY, and lots of women, think are sexy videos, are rethinking their TikTok game. These guys post videos where they flex, chop wood, work out, walk out of pools, dance, and, well, you get my drift. At one time or another, all of these things are happening shirtless. I'm not complaining, I'm just saying. They are in your face sexy. But, all of these guys are losing followers to this subtle and adorable guy who lip-syncs songs from the 80's all the way to current music. Take a look.

See what I mean? He is gorgeous and women of all ages are hooked on his smile right now. Cougars (as women my age are called when we are attracted to a younger man) are out in force for this guy. Having just discovered this guy last night and, as many have fallen under his spell, I have too. I've thought long and hard about WHY I fell. I didn't fall for any of the rest of the guys putting themself out there. But, for him, I was hooked from the first video. all it took was the first video. I think it's one of the reasons my heart leaped a little.

As I was thinking about it today, I got teary-eyed. I haven't felt like that in a very long time. I forgot that feeling existed. I buried it when I got married and became a mother. It took me back to a time when someone that looked a lot like him, looked at me that way. They actually made time for me and took me on dates.

I thought of one guy in particular who came to my house, sat, and talked to my dad every Saturday morning for a month, just to be able to take me to school every day. Then, did everything he had to do to convince my dad to let him take me for pizza after a football game. Mike made me feel like I was special. After the Dad approved date, this song played on the radio and he walked me to the front porch and gave me a kiss. It was magic. Mike was a smoking hot senior (I was a freshman), and a football player who drove a four-wheel drive, jacked-up, truck. He was so sweet and kind to me, always a gentleman.  And, like William, he had a hint of adorable, yet strong and confident, shyness. We didn't date very long, but the time we did have, is fresh in my mind, thanks to the above @whiteyy18 video.

In my opinion, the same thing is happening to millions of women who have seen his videos. William White, @whiteyy18, has awakened something that had been sleeping inside of us and now we are poised to want more of what we have been missing.  It's funny, I know he had no idea his videos would unite women all over the world in a common revelation.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in a good relationship and I'm happy. But, Quenton, like most men, is busy with life. He already has me, why does he need to woo me like my high school boyfriends? I need that though, I need to be valued and appreciated like that. Who knew a young guy from Canada would show us all how important even a look and a smile can be.

We deserve to be treated like our partners really want us, that they would do anything, just to spend a little time with us. Guys, like our high school boyfriends used to do, put in the effort. Never let us forget the part of ourselves that @whiteyy18 on TikTok helped us remember. The fun, spontaneous, young, hot, and free part of ourselves. Do everything you can to keep us from becoming trapped inside of ourselves by life's stresses. Now, that he has freed our beautiful and amazing spirits, it's your turn to reap the benefits. Don't waste this moment.

I know that, even though he is only 21 and could be my son, I can still acknowledge his good looks. There is nothing wrong with that. I also realize some of the women aren't thinking as deep as me and only see his young hotness and that's ok too. I decided to see how my Facebook friends feel about all this. They love him.

Not only the ladies like him, but he is also spreading happiness through his smile.
