Play Some Bingo, Win Some Cash, Support Your Local Veterans

There are multiple private veteran clubs across the country, and several are located right here in the tri-state area. In case you aren't aware, VFW's are private clubs for veterans and their family members, who specifically fought in foreign wars. My personal favorite part of these clubs is the fun activities they host for their members and communities. If you're a Bingo broad like me, you know there's no better place to play bingo than at the local VFW. The Boonville VFW held bingo every Thursday in their "back hall" for years, but recently had to shut down for renovations and improvements. Upon completion of some major improvements and changes, including the fact that they are now completely non-smoking, the Boonville VFW would like to welcome the public back for bingo! While VFW's are private clubs, they are occasionally open to the public on event nights such as this. Starting Thursday, February 19th, the Boonville VFW will be hosting public Bingo beginning at 6 pm every Thursday for the foreseeable future. The kitchen is open, all new equipment is firing, and the beverages in the cantina are cold. What better way to enjoy an evening out than to possibly win some money and support veterans at the same time? The Boonville VFW also offers poker on Wednesday and Sunday evenings, as well as acoustic and full band entertainment on select nights. For more information and to follow along with all their events, check out the VFW Facebook page. Interested in joining a local VFW?
