Being described by the Dungeon Master of his weekly online D&D group as someone having the “heart of an adventurer and the soul of a storyteller,” Oliver Kirkwood is a native midwestern denim enthusiast and the most recent proud member of the United States Air Hockey Association. Growing up tying hay bales and drinking from the hose, he went on to receive his degree in journalism, in which he was swiftly told by his supportive father that he’d have no future in the industry. Oliver now fulfills his career as a freelance writer- taking full advantage of being able to travel whilst creating articles and written content for various publications, media entities, and a monthly digest about cold brew coffee. When he isn’t out roaming the American countryside in his rigorous pursuit for a new perfect fishing spot, Ollie can be found plucking the strings of the banjo he bought at a thrift store just south of Tuscaloosa, or ordering new parts for his ’83 Jeep Scrambler he inherited from his grandpa’s shed (which WILL run one of these days so stop asking). He enjoys attempting to learn sign language, lying about being born in Australia, and running a fake social media account that is solely used for arguments with local news anchors.
