3 Clues to the Identity of the New Q Crew Morning Show Co-Host
As I revealed yesterday, after a lengthy application and audition process, we've found the person who will fill the seat left behind when Leslie Morgan announced her retirement from radio in February. While we're still keeping their identity hush-hush until they make their on-air debut, I am going to give you a few clues about them here to see if you can figure out who it is before then. Let's see if you can figure it out.
New Q Crew Morning Show Co-Host Set to Debut on Monday, April 10th
If you didn't see the article announcing the hire on Thursday, I dropped a couple of teeny-tiny hints there. One is that my new co-host is female, and the other is that she has spent some time in country radio during her career. And here's a bonus clue that didn't mention on Thursday; she's been backstage at the Grand Ole Opry and had the chance to meet Kellie Pickler.
Now then, let's get on to the new clues.
Clue #1 - She's a Big Fan of Black
When it comes to her wardrobe, black is where it's at. Take a look at her closet and you'll see what I mean.
For the record, the blue and neon yellow jacket belongs to her husband.
According to her, black goes with everything. As someone whose wardrobe is also mostly black, grey, or dark colors, I completely relate which means we already have one thing in common which is nice.
Clue #2 - She's a #BoyMom
No, Slimer from Ghostbusters is not my new co-host. This picture was taken at a recent horror convention. The other silhouettes are her husband and her young son who will be turning two years old soon and is one of the cutest kids you will ever see, in my opinion. As toddlers can do, he can simultaneously be the love of her life, and her greatest source of frustration. If you're a parent, you know.
Clue #3 - She's a Lifelong Chicago Cubs Fan
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that outside of marrying her husband and having her son, one of the greatest moments in her life took place on November 2nd, 2016 when the Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time in 108 years. In the nearly seven years since then, they've kind of reverted back to being the Cubs everyone knows — starting the season with high hopes only to fall short and miss the playoffs. Nonetheless, she still sticks by her team through the highs and the lows, the good and the bad because that's what sports fans do.
