Is there anything better on a hot, humid, Tri-State summer day than an ice-cold glass of lemonade? In this case, yes. It's when that glass of lemonade helps support the work of the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center!

Annual Easterseals LemonAID Stand Fundraiser and Silent Auction

The 27th stand will take place on Thursday, June 1st (2023) from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Rehab Center at 3701 Bellemeade Avenue on Evansville's east side. In addition to selling delicious, ice-cold lemonade, the two-hour event will also feature the following menu of food items:

The annual fundraiser is organized and put on by Abby Wells, with help from her mom, dad, and brothers. Easterseals holds a special place in the family's hearts as Abby has been a client of the Rehab Center after being diagnosed with a genetic disorder called PCH Type 1B when she was 18 months old.

The event will also feature a silent auction with several great items up for bids including:

  • Two tickets to King's Island Amusement Park
  • Two Tickets to a Cincinnati Reds Home game
  • 4 Tickets to the St. Louis Cardinals Saturday, August 5th Home Game
  • 4 Rounds of Golf at Pearl Club in Owensboro
  • Two Tickets to Big Splash Adventure Water Park in French Lick, IN
  • Various restaurant gift cards

Even if you can't make it to the event itself on Thursday, you can still bid on these items and all the others on the auction block right now through Bidpal, or by scanning the QR Code with your phone in the lower part of the menu pictured above.

Proceeds from the stand will go directly to the Rehab Center so they can continue providing physical, occupational, and speech therapy to adults and children with disabilities. This event alone has helped raise more than $93,000 over the past 25 years.

Make a point to swing by and grab some lunch to help support this amazing facility!
