2012 Emmy Awards: ‘Modern Family’ Takes Outstanding Comedy Series
Well, isn't that something. 'Modern Family' seems to have won itself an award. Did we not tell you that this show would likely come up again when it won the first award of the night, awarding Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series to Eric Stonestreet? Sigh. Well, if you're a 'Modern Family' fan, congratulations! The show took home the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series...again.
Of course, it's not that we don't like 'Modern Family,' it's just that there was fine work across the board this year from 'Girls,' 'Veep,' 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' '30 Rock,' and yes, even 'The Big Bang Theory.' So, why not give them some Emmy love?
Well, we may not quite understand the decision, but there's no use crying over spilled Emmys. What do you think? Did 'Modern Family' deserve its win once again this year? What show do you think will finally be the one to dethrone ABC's powerhouse? Give us your picks in the comments!
