When faced with a task, any task, I suspect our first thought isn't how to complete the task, but how can we do it quickly, so we can get it over with and move on to the next thing on our list, and is there a way we can do it as easily as possible.

Life hacks have have become insanely popular over the years as people have learned to use random items they have laying around their house, many of which are sold for one specific purpose, for multiple purposes,  often times completely unrelated to each other. For example, people have learned vinegar has far more uses than making salad dressing and pickles. It also comes in handy for several things around the house outside the kitchen, especially when you combine it with a little simple science (we'll get to one of those in a minute).

We recently asked you to share a life hack you've discovered on our Facebook page to help make life a little easier for everyone. Suggestions ranged from cooking hacks, to cleaning hacks, relief from certain bodily discomforts, and even a way to put a little more moisture in the air around your house the furnace sucks away during the chilly winter months.
