This 105 Year Old Southern Indiana Home is Full of Historic Beauty
For the Love of Old Houses recently shared this southern Indiana gem on the Evansville market.
A Victorian Beauty
I have always thought it would be amazing to live in a historic home. Imagine living in a place with so much character, and a lot of history. If only walls could talk! It would be fascinating to hear some of the stories of things that happened within the walls of historic homes. Not to mention historic homes just hold so much character and charm. In Evansville, a Victorian gem has hit the market, and it's stunning.
The Victorian era took place from around 120-1914 and influenced many things from culture to architecture. According to Brittanica:
Victorian era, in British history, the period between approximately 1820 and 1914, corresponding roughly but not exactly to the period of Queen Victoria’s reign (1837–1901).
The Victorian era even influenced America, and you can see some of that architectural influence on this incredible home in Evansville, I mean just look at that inviting porch!
