Evansville and the surrounding areas have been growing by leaps and bounds in the past few years. One of the newer organizations to the city is 100+ Women Who Care.

If you are a woman who wants to help out in the community but doesn't have a ton of time (raising my hand) then this might be the club for you. According to their website, "100+ Women Who Care Evansville is a group of women who come together for a common vision of supporting our community! It is one of more than 600 similar groups located worldwide that focus on coordinating funding for local, community organizations."

Participants agree to write a $100 check each quarter. The group meets four times a year to vote on a charity to donate the collective $10,000+ to. Meet only FOUR TIMES A YEAR? Heck ya!

If you'd like to get involved, the next meeting is Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Holiday Inn Evansville Airport. Members arrive between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm to register, visit with friends, and chat with group members. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm and wrap up at 7:00 pm. They will then hear from three nominated charities and vote to decide which non-profit organization will receive our collective donation of $10,000.

If you would like to become a member, please fill out your information in the form here. Or you can attend a giving meeting and fill out an application on-site! Men are not eligible to join this group. However, there is a 100 Guys Who Care Evansville group. Feel free to learn more about them by visiting their website here. If you are a charity that would like to be considered for the donation, visit their website for more info.

Not ready to make the commitment to become a member but want to learn more? On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, from 5:30-7 PM, make sure to plan on attending the 100+ Women Who Care fall social at The Diamond Galleria off Vogel Rd. in Evansville. While you are there, be sure to register to win a $250 Diamond Galleria gift card!
