You Could Get Paid For Your Facebook Posts?

Everyone has those Facebook friends that always post the funniest and original things. Maybe you are one of those people. If so, it could really pay off for you! This could either be a really good thing....or a really bad thing....

According to The Verge, apparently Facebook is considering adding a "tip jar," where people can PAY YOU for your brilliant posts. Personally, I think this is a great idea because unlike some people on Facebook, I only post when I have something clever to say. So why not get a little recognition for it?

They also might give you a cut of the ad revenue they make when people look at your posts, kind of like YouTube does with videos. There's no word on when they could start doing it.  Facebook is trying to keep from losing users to other forms of social media like Twitter and Snap chat, so it is likely that this could be the next big thing Facebook does for its users.
