WKDQ Deep Cuts: “Don’t Give Up On Me” by Jason Aldean

You hear a lot of songs on the radio, but there are a lot more songs that are on an artist's album that never make it to radio and you may never have heard. I want to give you an opportunity to hear a few of those songs, if you haven't already. Each week I will be giving you a new WKDQ Deep Cut. This will be a song off of an artist's album that may or may not be released as a single to radio.

I will be giving you a different country song each week to listen to. If you have already heard it, great! If you haven't, take a couple of minutes to check out some great songs that may or may not pop up on country radio. Now, there may be some artists that you don't like, but give them a shot, you may like what you hear!

This week's song is probably my favorite song by Jason Aldean. It is called "Don't Give Up On Me." This song is off of his Wide Open album. It's one of those songs that I thought would have been a huge hit for him, had he released it as a single. In the song, Jason talks about all of these things that he knows he should be doing better and how "the woman" makes him want to be a better person.
