Many years ago, I relied on my husband to grill because I was a little apprehensive about using it. I was barely able to make box mac and cheese, so getting those perfect searing marks on steaks or chicken felt totally out of reach. But, if I waited on my husband to cook, let's just say I'd be a lot skinnier. So, I took the grill tongs by the handle and started small - with hot dogs. I quickly learned that my anxiety and worry were unwarranted. Grilling was pretty darn easy! Now, I LOVE grilling. It's my favorite during the summer and I'll even fire it up in the winter, pull on the snow boots, and pretend it's sunny and 75 out.

Whether you are a grill master (like myself haha) or are just starting out, there's always more to learn about cooking! And, one of the coolest and most coveted grilling/smoking products on the market is the Big Green Egg. Everyone I know who has one LOVES it. And now, they come with accessories like The Big Green Egg Steel Wok which makes cooking things like chopped veggies a breeze. And they get that delicious smokey flavor.
If you want to become a BGE master, have fun with a friend or loved one, and enjoy some delicious dinner, Bassemiers is hosting a series of cooking classes. The next one is this August and we have your chance to win tickets!
