Getting together regularly for coffee and conversations at Windy Hollow Biscuit, hosting and supporting tri-state veteran's events, V.E.T. also hosts fundraisers for the county like collecting toys for children for Christmas with Fill the Humvee that takes place December 9th. They've also started The Bridges Program which provides equine therapy services to active duty military personnel, their families, and veterans.

Coming up on November 17th, V.E.T. is hosting the second Military Ball at the Owensboro Convention Center. The whole community is invited to attend the celebration and to honor veterans by supporting the mission of Veterans Empowered Together. Organizers are hoping to see new faces as everyone is welcome military or not. This is a great opportunity to support local veterans.
