This Has Been Named the Best Restaurant in Indiana

One website claims that they have found the best restaurant in all of Indiana. Do you agree or disagree?

Indiana has no shortage of great restaurants that have been open for years. These restaurants have become staples in that area where people must go whenever they are in town. They are restaurants that can even become bucket-list places to dine at. Whether it be comfort food, burgers, fried chicken, seafood, Italian, Mexican, steakhouses, or any other type of restaurant, there are certain places that stand out among the rest. Out of all of the possibilities, it can be somewhat difficult to decide where you want to go to eat. Perhaps it's wise to just dine at the best restaurant in the whole state.

Is This the Best Restaurant in Indiana?

The website, Tripsavvy, recently compiled a list of the best restaurant in each state. That alone is a tricky thing to do because how do you define what the "best" is? They even had difficulty doing this:

Or perhaps it’s the place you find yourself popping into at least once a week—your favorite neighborhood spot? Or the hole-in-the-wall with the cheap late-night eats that always satisfy? The truth is, it’s all of these and more.</p><p id="mntl-sc-block_1-0-4" class="comp mntl-sc-block travel-sc-block-html mntl-sc-block-html">After conferring with a cadre of food and travel writers and people who work in the food industry, we did our best to choose a diverse list of excellent restaurants from every state in our nation.</p>

So, while in many ways this is subjective, it still gives a great spotlight to all the restaurants on this list. Oh, and as far is the best restaurant in Indiana, it's not what I expected it to be. I figured St. Elmo's Steakhouse in Indianapolis would be what they chose because it's really one of the most popular restaurants in the entire state. However, I was surprised to find that Tripsavvy chose a restaurant that I've never heard of before. A restaurant in Indianapolis called Milktooth.

When this daytime restaurant opened in Indianapolis in 2014, it was at the forefront of a reinvention of breakfast and lunch in the U.S.; seven years later, it still brings a creative spin to comfort dishes. Calling itself a “fine diner” on its website, <a href="https://www.milktoothindy.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" data-component="link" data-source="inlineLink" data-type="externalLink" data-ordinal="1">Milktooth</a> offers dishes that honor local produce like a Dutch baby pancake with whipped labneh, local plums, pistachio, and cardamom meringue; grilled cheese on homemade apricot walnut bread with smoked gouda, St. Andre triple cream, a duck egg, and tomato jam; and a corn waffle with peaches, cinnamon maple, and puffed amaranth. Don’t sleep on the pastries, or you’ll miss out on treats like a blue cheese croissant Danish with cherry tomatoes and a toasted hazelnut chocolate chip cookie.

Again, I have never been to Milktooth before, so I can't comment on if it is the best restaurant in Indiana, but looking at the menu, it certainly looks delicious. What do you think? If you've been there before, what's the best thing to order?
