The Warrick County Special Olympics invite you out for a beautiful day on the links to help support their  mission of providing year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Their 3rd Annual Golf Scramble will take place on Sunday, August 3rd at the Boonville Country Club located east of Boonville on Highway 61, and begins with lunch and player registration at 11:30am followed by a shotgun start at 1pm.

Registration is $240 per foursome with lunch included. Local businesses interested in sponsoring the event have the following options:

Gold Level Sponsorship - $800
  • Includes foursome, lunch, and three hole signs
Silver Level Sponsorship - $600
  • Includes foursome, lunch, and two hole signs
Bronze Level Sponsorship - $400
  • Includes foursome, lunch, and one hole sign

Businesses not interested, or those unable to field a team, but would still like to contribute can sponsor one hole for $100.

Events such as this help the Warrick County Special Olympics continue to offer sports such as basketball, softball, swimming, and track and field, as well as the Athlete Leadership Program (ALPS) free of charge to their athletes. An impressive feat considering they receive no funding from the state.

For more information, or to book a foursome, contact Kevin Mosbey at 812-598-1010, or visit the Warrick County Special Olympics Facebook page.
