Little Penny was carelessly tossed out onto the side of the road in Harrisonville, Virginia, but thanks to Officer Timothy Rugg, the kitten now has a home.

Posey Humane Society in Mount Vernon, Indiana is at capacity with over 100 cats and kittens and they have issued an urgent plea for fosters, volunteers & supplies.

Public Vet is a non profit that goes into different communities to host spay/neuter clinic to help limit cat populations.

Earlier in the week, I saw the above Facebook post by Warrick Animal Control which made me search my heart of how people can be so cruel. It was only in the overwhelming response of support that I could believe humanity isn't all bad. Then, the second picture (below) was released this morning...

We could offer an explanation of this. But we really don't have one, and do you really need one? It's just an adorable Corgi puppy and an equally adorable kitten snuggling, and arguing in their sleep over who gets the most pillow. Oh, and chewing on each other's feet...
