“Paradise” Singer John Prine Has Died From Coronavirus

Singer/songwriter John Prine has died from Coronavirus according to his wife Whelan Prine. He was in ICU with COVID-19 but was also suffering from pneumonia in both lungs and needed quite a bit of help breathing. According to Whelan he also had some other issues being treated with antibiotics.  He was a two-time cancer survivor.  Whelan Prine recently recovered from Coronavirus herself.

John Prine  is famous for writing many great tunes. Folks in this area will remember the song "Paradise" which tells the story of his summer visits to his parent's hometown of Paradise, Kentucky, in Muhlenburg County.  Let's take a listen.....
