The LoCash Cowboys were involved in a bus accident while riding to a show in Mairnette, Wisc. on Friday afternoon (June 14). The duo and their crew were traveling from a performance at the Taste of Country Music Festival when a front tire blew out.
As parents, we have all been in a restaurant where our kids are acting like zoo animals and we have to endure the stares and dirty looks from the other couples not dining with children...you know what I mean. Well, one Sushi restaurant in Virginia has banned kids under 18 and business is BOOMING!
My son's LOVED playing with LEGO's. My youngest son still get's the colorful blocks out to play from time to time. But, shhhhhhhhh, don't tell anybody. ;-)
Today, LEGO's aren't just blocks anymore. They are also video games. Whether it be Indiana Jones, Batman, Harry Potter or Star Wars, we have them all. My ex-husband, their dad, could often be found either building a intergalactic fighter jet or saving Gotham City with my boys. As I think back, it warmed my heart.
So, for the dad's and their kid's that love everything LEGO, here is a salute to father's every where. :-)
Maggie Rose is one of the rising stars in country music, after being in Nashville for quite some time. I've been a fan country music since I was in 5th grade, and I've been doing country radio for 10 years. It's weird how some songs you've heard a million times have new meanings once you're a parent. I have three in particular that touched me differently after my daughter and son were born.
We have seen it before on any number of reality shows, but in particular on singing competition shows. Someone steps up to the microphone to sing and you're thinking this will be the worst performance ever...then, what happens next is nothing short of jaw-dropping amazing. That was the case when Travis Pratt of Tifton, Georgia took the stage recently on 'America's Got Talent'.
This is so weird, just yesterday I witnessed a little fender bender in downtown Evansville involving a driver who lightly rear-ended another vehicle. When they got out of their cars, the driver at fault admitted to the other driver she was looking at a text, to which the other driver responded in a way I can't print here.
