The Newburgh Museum presents "Newburgh Remembers" July 15-17 featuring an historic and fun weekend.  The public is invited to a reenactment of the capture of Newburgh, a civil war skirmish, encampment of reenactors, and more at the Newburgh Lock and Dam Park and French Island Trail.

Live entertainment featuring the Old Dam Community Band and the Red Bank Reunion Band will play throughout the weekend.  Food vendors, a ladies afternoon tea, a Civil War Era Homes tour, and more will also highlight the weekend's events.

Tickets are needed for several of the events including a Cotillion Dinner Dance on Friday, July 15; Ladies Afternoon Tea on Sat. July 16; the Civil War Era Homes Tour and trial of Andrew Huston on Sunday, July 17th, otherwise Newburgh Remembers is free and open to everyone.
