I'm a fan of potato chips just like everyone, but with companies trying new flavors, at some point they are bound to cross the weird line. Lays potato chips seem to be the front runner in trying out new flavors,as they hold a contest each year that allows consumers to pick the flavors. Some of those were a little out there ( the biscuits and gravy flavor wasn't bad though). Now it seems as if Pringles is trying to catch up with Lays on weird chip flavors.

Pringles has been releasing WEIRD holiday dessert flavors for the past few years, and their new one this year is Sugar Cookie Pringles.  They'll only be available at Walmart and they go on sale next month.

Sugar cookies are my favorite, but that's because they are cookies, not potato chips! Don't get me wrong, I will most likely try them, but not without any hesitance. In my opinion, potato chip flavors should be left in the world of food that doesn't include desert. Make a cheeseburger, bacon, or even a spaghetti flavored chip, not something that doesn't even remotely go along with potatoes.

This isn't the first desert flavored chip that Pringles has created, however. Apparently, a while back Pringles had Sugar Cookie Stix. Those were discontinued after a short time on the shelves. One can only assume that these new chips will have the same results. They're also re-releasing two dessert flavors they did before:  Pecan Pie and Salted Caramel.  Those will be on sale at Dollar Generals.

Would you try these flavors???
