Melissa Learns an Interesting Fact about ‘Shameless’

It's not surprise I'm a HUGE Garth Brooks fan.  He's one of my all time favorites, and to me he is untouchable, but I learned a fact about his song 'Shameless' last night that shocked me! Do you know who originally wrote and recorded 'Shameless?'  Allow me to fill you in!

Billy Joel! He originally wrote 'Shameless' and it wasn't meant to be a country western hit, and he even went onto say he was shocked at it's popularity in the Country world! How cool is that?!

Now I'm the first person to defend Garth, and I totally believe Garth Brooks is untouchable! HOWEVER Billy Joel's version of 'Shameless' is pretty incredible (I mean it IS the original version)! You've got to check it out!
