All Makes And Models are Available at the VHS!

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them in all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats who have been around awhile. So there is a very good likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week with the VHS, and this week we've got a special cat who is out of this world!

Meet Mars

All of a sudden all of the "out of this world" jokes are making sense, right?  Anyays, this pretty guy is a cat named Mars.  He is a resident at the Vanderburgh Humane Society and he's looking for his forever home.  In his bio from the VHS Mars was referred to as an "office cougar"  and I think that nickname is perfect for this pretty boy.

Meet 3-year-old Mars! He’s what we like to call a “cat person’s” cat. He’s sweet, affectionate, hilarious and gentle…BUT... he can also be feisty, unpredictable, and a bit dramatic. This little office cougar was super stressed after arriving at the VHS and staff believes being around other cats was to blame. Now that he’s decompressed in an employee office for a few weeks, he’s a perfectly goofy cat that is ready to melt in your lap! Apply for Mars at vhslifesaver.org, his $80 adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip and up-to-date vaccinations.

Let's find Mars the perfect home!
