Willie Nelson has been feeling under the weather for much of 2018 -- but those concerned that he's on his deathbed, it appears, don't have to worry. According to an update from Nelson's son Lukas, the country icon is doing just fine.

On Sunday (Feb. 11), Lukas Nelson shared on social media a photo of his famous father "resting in Maui" -- though in Willie Nelson's case, "resting" includes doing a little kickboxing. The younger Nelson's post notes that his dad is "feeling much better, according to him."

"My dad is a bada--," Lukas Nelson adds. "Thanks to everyone who’s been asking how he is."

On Feb. 5, Nelson announced that he was canceling all of his tour dates for the month in order to fully recover from the flu. A press released reported that Nelson "is up and about and looks as healthy as ever," but his doctor recommended that his voice needs "a few extra weeks" to heal.

In January, Nelson abruptly ended a performance Harrah’s Resort SoCal shortly after it began due to breathing issues; he then canceled his remaining January tour dates. Nelson was also forced to cancel a string of tour dates in late 2016 and early 2017, due to an undisclosed illness. However, he remained healthy throughout the rest of the year, and his publicist shot down a March rumor that he was "deathly ill."

Nelson plans to resume his 2018 tour in early March.
